Victor Sold His Soul was made in 72 hours for Ludum Dare 44 with the theme "Your life is currency"

The year is 1903. In a desperate last attempt to save his dying wife, Victor Lavecroft reached out to any power that could help him, but sometimes power comes with a catch, and in Victors case a terrble price. The Old One Cal’thulu granted Victor’s wish, and happily Victor’s Wife made a miraculous recovery. However, since that fateful night Victor’s life has taken a dark and twisted turn. His dreams are plagued by dark visions, he finds himself sleepwalking, and terrified by Victor’s change in temperament his wife has left him alone in their small, ever darkening village. To make things even stranger, Victor keeps waking in his lab to find curious objects humming in dark energies, that he has no recollection of.

Victor is terrified by the cost of his deal with the ancient creature, but when dealing with an Old God, your life is the only currency they accept.
